Atlas Counseling is currently seeking an experienced child therapist to join our growing team. Hours are flexible and will include evening and/or weekend scheduling. Increased hours will become available as your caseload grows. This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with children, teens, and families in a private practice without the pressure of running their own business.

What We Require

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral science
  • At time of hire, Washington State associate licensure as a masters-level mental health provider (LMFTA, LMHCA, LSWAIC)
  • 1-2 years of recent, continuous experience as a child/adolescent therapist
  • Basic training in play therapy and other modalities appropriate to children or teenagers
  • Availability on some nights and weekends
  • Ability to see 15, 20, or 25 clients weekly

What We Prefer

  • At time of hire, Washington State licensure as a masters-level mental health provider (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW)
  • 3-5 years of recent, continuous experience as a child or adolescent therapist
  • Credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist
  • Specialty training in infant and perinatal mental health
